Headteachers Update 24th September 2021

Once again, our colleagues have shown their determination and strength, this time during their 3 Peak challenge last weekend! We are so proud of the team for giving their time to their  training regime and weekends to fundraise for our pupils and school! Their total so far is £2890 and it’s not too late to donate—see our Facebook page for the link. It has been humbling to read the donations & comments coming in, it is a reminder of the   amazing community we are part of! Thank you!
As part of our school improvement journey, we are working hard on refreshing and developing our outdoor learning spaces. With the help of a very talented Mr Ellis (husband of Nicky Ellis) we have 3 specially designed accessible MUD KITCHENS! If you have any old pots, pans or utensils that you would like to donate for our outdoor areas we would love to receive them.
In addition to this plea, we are also looking for volunteers to participate and support our Community Curriculum, which we aim to launch late October. Volunteers could support our Energise swimming sessions (weekly Thursdays 1pm-2pm) or other community outings. More info to follow regarding the Community Curriculum but we ask for volunteers to register their interest be email to admin.hmo@ebor.academy, a DBS would need to be completed for safeguarding purposes.
