Headteachers Update 8th July 2022

Proud headteacher alert!  What an incredible sports day! It has been such a wonderful morning of sport. Thank you for supporting the school and celebrating our fantastic school community. The children were amazing and the staff enabled the children to showcase their abilities to celebrate each of our unique HMO children! Big thanks to Liz, Dan and James for their energy and efforts, we’ve missed this annual event so much over the years… but I do think we may have just experienced the best one yet!

For those who were unable to attend we had wheelchair races, walking races, running races, egg & spoon, hurdles, siblings races, dad’s race, mum’s race and staff races! We’ve assessed the photo finish  evidence for the staff race (we are all very competitive) James came 1st in our men’s race and drum roll…. Me and Lucy F came joint 1st representing the ladies! Whoop!

We’ve got such a busy diary over the next fortnight with informal transition sessions, school trips and our leavers assembly. This years’ theme for leavers is ‘The Oscars!’, think glitter, glamour, red carpet & proud speeches! Start planning your children’s outfits for those leaving. It will be an emotional morning filled with pride, positivity and presentations! Please arrive at 9:50am ready for a prompt opening at 10am.

A day to remember! It is an honour to lead this amazing school!
