Headteacher Update 15th November 2024
What a busy week it has been! It started with a very respectful Remembrance assembly on Monday and finished with an amazing Children in Need day, full of fun and laughter. Firstly, thank you so much for your support today. The children came to school looking great in their spots, with many of them also opting for ‘Wacky’ hair too! I am delighted to let you know that with your donations, added to the money raised through the bake sale and the colouring competition, we have raised £418 and counting!
Thank you to over 100 of our children who entered our colouring Pudsey competition. After a very difficult decision by our guest judge, the winners were:
Nursery: Archie Long
Reception: Esme Saville
Year 1: Freya Walker
Year 2: Isaac Winter
Year 3: Emily Pitwood
Year 4: Seb Burn
Year 5: Lizzie Draper
Year 6: Rowan Kelly
These children were all awarded their prizes today!
Next week, we will be sending out information regarding all our Christmas plans for this year. This will in-clude details of dates for nativities, parties, Christmas craft workshops, and much more.
Can I please ask that, if you haven’t already, you join our ClassDojo account. This will give you access to more regular updates from school. We currently have over 150 parents signed up and it would be great if this was everyone. If you need any support with this, please don’t hesitate to contact the of-fice team who will be happy to help.
Have a lovely weekend, and we look forward to seeing the children next week.
