Headteacher Update 26th April 2024

Dear Families

Happy Friday! It is hard to believe we have already completed three weeks of the summer term.  Now we just need the weather to catch up as we approach May!

Over the last few weeks, we have been refining our lunchtime routines and providing the children with a wide range of new play equipment and games. The new equipment and revamped routines are creating a buzz amongst the children, fostering a more enjoyable and enriching playtime experience. The arrival of the basketball nets has been a popular addition! Children are now    actively engaged in new physical challenges and collaborative play. Increased supervision during lunchtimes ensures safety while fostering a more inclusive environment. Supervisors are acting as play leaders and helping children navigate the new equipment and encouraging cooperative play. Collaborative play encourages social interaction and fosters enjoyment and fun.

Thank you for taking the time to join us for our Open Doors Afternoon. It was wonderful to see so many of our families in their child’s classroom. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to share a glimpse of your child’s learning environment and the exciting activities happening in our classrooms. Your enthusiasm and positive feedback were truly encouraging. We hope your visit provided you with a deeper understanding of our curriculum and teaching methods. If you have any further questions or would like to discuss your child’s learning journey in more detail, please don’t hesitate to talk to your child’s class teacher.
