Headteacher Update 26th May2023

Dear Parents / Carers,
It’s hard to believe we say ‘Goodbye’ to another half term this afternoon, the past 6 weeks have certainly flown by! In assembly today we also said ‘Goodbye’ to Miss Wilkins because she gets married over the half term break and after the holiday we will be saying ‘Hello and Welcome’ to Mrs Morgan. We all wish her well for her wedding day and can’t wait to see the photos, she will make the most beautiful bride.
Over the past 2 weeks, it has been the turn of our Year 2 children to do their end of Key Stage tests and they have been amazing. We have been really proud of how they have all tried their very best, concentrated hard and worked independently without talking. To mark the end of this ‘tricky work’, they’ve had a wonderful celebration today, dressed as Londoners. They all looked very smart!
Enjoy the lovely sunshine that’s forecast for the next week, and as you can see from the list of dates, we have lots to look forward to in the final half term of the year.
