Headteachers Update 14th January 2022

Over the last 2 weeks it has been wonderful welcoming children back into school after the festive holiday.  The children have enjoyed greeting me with a ‘Happy New year’ and all appear so pleased to be back with their friends in school. In assembly we reflected on how at the start of a new year we all have high hopes of what that year might bring for us.  We hope that 2022 is a year full of kindness, happiness and optimism for everyone.  January is often a challenging month so to help us all beat the ‘January Blues’ we have got lots of fun activities planned in school this term.

The pantomime performed by M&M Theatrical Productions on the second day back was certainly an uplifting way to kick off the term and the shouts and laughter could be heard all around the building!

However, as well as providing lots of fun for the children and  staff we are still dealing with the challenge of Covid-19 and I thank you all for your support with this.  As ever the guidance that we work hard to follow is ever changing and we will try our best to keep you updated.  As ever, please speak to us if you have any questions around this.
