Headteachers Update 15th October 2021

What a perfect week to ‘Walk to School!’ It’s been great to see how keen the children have been to get their walking boots on or jump on their bike to gain a point to go towards our entry to the Jack Archer Award.  Let’s hope the weather stays pleasant for our half term break.

This week I have spent lots of time in lessons with the children, seen some really impressive writing and been delighted by how keen they are to talk to me about their reading.  The Year 3/4 children have been writing a persuasive letter to persuade me not to appoint ‘Coach Ghengis’ to our staff team, they’ll be pleased to hear I decided NOT to recruit him!

Team Robin had lots of children on ‘WOW’ this week for the writing they did after a visit from Red Ted.

Well done everyone for a great week’s work, you all deserve a lovely weekend so we’re ready for the final week of our half term.
