Headteachers Update 1st April 2022

As we approach our Easter holidays we reflect on a very busy term with lots of success.  Last week we welcomed visitors into school to review the Personal, Social and Health curriculum we offer our children.  They spent time observing lessons and talking to the children about their learning and what they enjoyed about their lessons.  They spent a lot of time in the playground asking questions related to if they feel safe, happy and healthy in school.  The children spoke very confidently and our visitors went away with a real sense of what a friendly, welcoming school we have where children behave well and respect others.

Next Thursday we will also be welcoming trustees from the Ebor Academy Trust and I hope they will take on the tough job of judging our Annual Easter Competition, which we are very much looking forward to.
