Headteachers Update 18th October 2019

As we approach our half term break I would like to thank you for your patience and understanding whilst the Ascot Way entrance has been closed. Unfortunately due to delays on the construction site the gate will remain closed until the end of November, apologies for the inconvenience.

This half term, under the leadership of Mr Willson, staff have been working hard to develop our teaching of maths. I’m sure the parents of our new starters will have heard all about ‘Numberblocks’ and ‘Numberland’! As part of this work I have been lucky enough to have been given the opportunity to visit schools in Shanghai. As you read this I will be on my very long flight heading to China. Mrs Thompson will take the reins next week with the support of Mr Willson and Mr Stevens.

Have a happy half term and I can’t wait to see the photos of the children enjoying the Halloween disco.
