Headteachers Update 10th January 2020

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! It was great to welcome the children and staff back for 2020!

I’m hoping you have all received your curriculum newsletters highlighting the learning opportunities planned for this half term. Keep your eyes peeled for our ‘Ignition’ letters for our educational visits this term.

We welcome a new pupil into our Hob Moor Oaks families this week, Elliott has joined Catkins class and is settling into HMO life very well! We hope Elliott is enjoying his new school.

Thank you for your support with the new school lunch booking system through ParentPay, it Is much appreciated. To ensure your child receives a school lunch, when required, please remember to book by the Wednesday of each week for meals needed the following week.

Finally, a little personal message from me, one that if I saw you on the playground daily you would be wondering about. I may look like I have over indulged over the Christmas period but even though I have a love of mince pies, my ever growing tummy, I am pleased to say, is growing a baby! Please do not panic over this news, it will be business as usual in school and I will update you all with the plan of action regarding maternity cover when we finalise things. I would appreciate this news not to be discussed on our parents Facebook group/social media – if you have any queries please contact me directly.
