Headteachers Update 6th November 2020

I hope everyone enjoyed a very restful half term break and had lots of fun times with their families.

As we move into our second national lockdown, it has been wonderful to see so many happy children in school this week.  We continue to rigorously follow all the guidance we receive and continue to prioritise the safety of the children and staff.  Our latest guidance informed us that there is now a requirement ‘to keep occupied spaces well ventilated all of the time’.  This will result in our school being cooler than usual so please make sure your child(ren) has an extra warm piece of clothing (jumper, sweatshirt or fleece) to wear over their uniform (PE kit) during lessons.

A little reminder that we are having Parents Evening over the next two weeks. Your child’s teacher will give you a call to discuss their achievements over the first half term in their new class.  Don’t worry if you miss the call, they will try again another day!

And finally we are looking forward to the Federation joining together to raise money for ‘Children in Need’ so that we can help to change young lives.
