Headteachers Update 10th June 2022

Welcome back to everyone. I hope you’ve all had a lovely week with your children and family. I enjoyed celebrating Reuben’s 2nd birthday with our friends and family.  It was lovely to see your half term fun via tapestry, thank you for sharing these with us.

This half term is going to be a fast paced one, in the next couple of weeks we will share our class lists, end of year reports, have our meet the new team meetings, sports day, summer trips and our Y6 leavers assembly! It is lovely to know that all these events will be in person this year… and yes – we do have a parents race so get your trainers out!

This week we welcomed our new parents and carers to our transition coffee morning, it was lovely to meet our new families. As the Y6 pupils  continue to prepare for saying goodbye to Hob Moor Oaks and move onto Applefields, I also prepare to say goodbye to our Y6 pupils and their families. We will have a special leavers event on Wednesday 20th June, provisionally 10am onwards – I will confirm these plans within the fortnight.

We have a final Parents Community Hub on Tuesday to firm up the work we have been completing in school to build a timetable of events that you can access as families during the summer holidays. All welcome, 10-11am Tuesday 14th June.
