Friday Letter 24th June 2022

Good Afternoon, what a beautiful week it has been.  We are rapidly approaching the last few weeks of term but there is still so much to be done in school.  We are really looking forward to our sports days over the next few weeks where we will see everyone looking ‘ready for       action’ in their new PE kit.  We have used finding we were so lucky to receive to buy all our children a coloured t-shirt in their house team  colour, a pair of football shorts/cycling shorts and a pair of tracksuit bottoms/ leggings, all stored safely in a brightly coloured drawstring bag.  We will look smart!  All the children will need for September is a pair of plimsolls (indoors) and/or a pair of trainers.

Plans for September are in full swing and today we were recruiting for teachers for the new school year.  This was because Mrs Coyle and Miss Wood will sadly be leaving us at the end of term.  Mrs Coyle will be taking up a new part time post in Osbaldwick Primary Academy and Miss Wood will take up her new role at Westfield Primary Community School.  We wish them well and hope they enjoy their last few weeks at Hob Moor.  There will certainly be some sad Goodbyes as we say thankyou for all they’ve done for our children.  I’ll definitely need to stock up on the tissues!
