Headteachers Update 5th March 2021

Spring has certainly sprung over the last few weeks and everyone is feeling really hopeful about the coming months.

However in school it has felt more like Christmas! Not only are we having all our wonderful children return to learning in school on Monday but we have been very lucky to receive a number of very generous donations. last week and then on Monday I was contacted by Asda to tell us that they are delighted to donate 10 laptops to Hob Moor. Today the ‘Bookcase for All’ charity is delivering 2 boxes of free books for our children!

Amazing! We feel quite humbled to have been chosen to receive such fabulous donations and our children will benefit enormously. Children in Year 6 have been busy writing some beautiful letters of sincere thanks to them all.

And finally, earlier this week I received this box of goodies for all our staff from York vineyard. I have saved these to share on Monday and will be a token of thanks to everyone for their amazing work since Christmas, juggling home learning whilst teaching other children in school. I feel immensely proud of how committed they have been to making this work for all our children.
