Headteacher Update 12th January 2024

What a busy first week it has been. Thank you to all those parents who have chatted to me and been so welcoming in my first week as Headteacher. The children have settled back into school life very quickly and have made a super start to 2024. It has been a pleasure to meet so many of them and spend time in all the classes alongside them. The week got off to an entertaining start and the children thoroughly enjoyed the pantomime, especially seeing Mr Unwin’s and Mr Hinde’s performances in the dance off!

Over the coming weeks and months, there will be many opportunities for you to meet me, but please do not hesitate to say hello if you see me before or after school.

At this stage, can I please appeal to you to ensure that you arrive at school on time each day? It seems that there are a lot of children who are regularly late and this really disrupts their learning, but  also the learning of the other children in their class. I look forward to seeing all the children bright and early on Monday morning.
