Headteacher Update 14th July

Dear Parents & Carers,

As you can see from our newsletter this week we have certainly had a fun packed fortnight at Hob Moor.  The children all really enjoyed taking part in our Sports Days last week, the weather was really kind to us and it was fantastic to welcome so many visitors to cheer the children down the track.  A huge thank you to all the staff for organising such a wonderful week of sporting activity.  As we move towards the final week of the term, we are looking forward to reflecting on another very successful year at Hob Moor. Our Year 6 pupils will be performing their end of year production on Tuesday at 1.30pm and then we will be saying ‘Goodbye and Good Luck’ to them all in a special final Year 6 Celebration assembly on Thursday at 2.15pm.  They are a wonderful bunch and should be so proud of what they have achieved.  We wish them all the best for their move to secondary school in September.  They have been asking me for weeks ‘How many days have we got left now, Mrs. Cousins?’  Sadly it’s only 5 and I definitely need to stock up on tissues for our final week together!
